How to Use the Online Gamepad Tester

Our free online controller testing tool helps you diagnose hardware issues instantly from your browser. Whether you suspect stick drift, dead zone inconsistencies, unresponsive buttons, or faulty triggers, this tool provides a visual representation of your controller's raw input data.

What are we testing?

  • Analog Sticks: Monitor raw X and Y axis values to detect resting jitter or permanent hardware drift.
  • Triggers (L2/R2): Check for smooth pressure sensitivity and verify maximum actuation (1.0).
  • Face Buttons: Detect bouncing (double inputs) or unresponsive conductive pads.
  • Vibration Motors: Test the rumble functionality to ensure internal motors are operational.
